‘Our Family’s Journey Through Disability and Cancer’

It has taken a little over a year but I have completed my first book!

Our Family’s Journey Through Disability and Cancer has been written to share our family’s experiences, and I truly hope that it will help other families in similar circumstances.

Monies from the sales will be donated to CLIC Sargent and Down’s Syndrome Association – both charities have supported our family on this journey.

CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives. Amongst endless other things, they provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs.

The Down’s Syndrome Association is the only charity in the UK dealing with all aspects of Down’s syndrome. Their aim is to help people who have Down’s syndrome live full and rewarding lives.Their work includes training and information, WorkFit employment programme and a ‘Having a Voice’ project, amongst other valuable support.
